Mendapati pesan : Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly, ketika restart mysql

Sebulan ini permasalahan database digilib muncul. Bermula tidak jalannya database ketika ditelusur di internet. Mungkin waktu itu sempet listrik mati, dan UPS nggak jalan.
Mysql Admin juga bertanda merah. Upaya dilakukan, mulai dengan kembali remove mysql dan install ulang mysql versi 4.1 , masih belum bisa muncul bahkan kalaupun dipanggil lewat localhost. Mysql pun di remove lagi. Kemudian di coba install mysql versi 5. Hasilnya sama. Bolak balik restart mysql di services administrative tools, and then masalah baru muncul. Pesennya :

“Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly”


Padahal maslah inti belum terpecahkan…. 
Akhirnya, Hasil disscuss dengan PJ komputer di kantor dengan pertimbangan biar user tidak terlalu lama menunggu untuk kembali menggunakan database digital, diputuskan my Comp yg sedianya client krn punya kapasitas ram 1 Giga dipake server, gantikan server yg ram nya 256 MB.

Selanjutnya di isi program untuk digilib (GDL 4.0), dan mulai proses import sql dump. (Ini dia..untuuung sebelum error terjadi sudah di backup.. jadi datanya yg ilang Cuma dikiiiiit) Untuk susah senanggnya import sql Dump akan ada cerita sendiri. Karena perjalanannya yg juga ternyata nggak mulus karena metadata_XML hasil dumping yang banyak errornya. Yaaa… Alhamdulillah karena nggak pantang menyerah bisa juga di selesaikan. Plus berkat bantuan Navicat Mysql..keren lah…nuhunlah buat yang bikin navicat.

Setelah barter komputer, komputer yg dulunya server, baru dapet perhatian penuh..
Memulai lagi fokus dengan errorr 1067. Akhirnya kalau pikiran tenang & nggak pantang nyerah bisa juga diatasi.

Awalnya nemu suggestion yg pas. Ini pesen aslinya:

On a Windows Server with mySQL 5.0.18.

This problem appears after reinstalling mySQL using the installer.

Even after removing mySQL via the Add/Remove Programs interface, some
files persist. For example c:/Program Files/mySQL/mysql 5 etc etc/.
Remove those files (after backing them up of course). Then procede with
installation.

If you still have problems, start the mySQL server instance config
wizard and remove the installation. Then remove MySQL via the
Add/remove Programs interface and repeat the deletion of files
described above. Restart the computer -> Install again.

If you still have problems such as "Could not start service", try
naming the service otherwise eg MYSQL5 (not MYSQL) when installing.

On older versions the following could be relevant:

I believe this error occures when mysql is installed in an other
directory as c:\mysql. You should edit the my-example.cnf file and
change the paths to where you placed the mysql files. Then save
this file in c:\ .

open my-example.cnf in notepad or similar text editor, don't forget to
un remark the lines which you edit, and after that run the following at
command promptnet start mysql

and all should be fine :)

Another thing that helped was,
I uninstalled apache server installed on IIS, as it was in
conflict with the mysql sub directory. Mysql was installed in
c:\mysql

then remove the service from system tray
type at dos prompt net start mysql >
you will get a message service started successfully.
Then type winmysqladmin > the graphical interphase will open
with "green light". Then on you can work on IIS with mysql and php.

It seems that this error is about a wrong configuration of my.ini file.
You should try to change the my.ini file with another from the mysql
install directory. I've changed with my-small.ini and it work. Of corse
you need to delete the old my.ini and then rename my-small.ini as my.ini
and copy into C:\Windows directory. If you have set the path variable to
the mysql install directory you don't need to copy my.ini in C:\Windows
anymore.

Karena yg dipake server adalah versi lama yaitu Mysql versi 4.1, maka suggestnya
Alexandru Mihai yg ku pake. Langkah2 ini yg dilakukan:

1. Cari My.ini file dari Mysql yg kita install. In this case, Ada di C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 4.1
Di Folder ini ditemukan file *.ini ada2 : My.ini dan My-small.ini
2. Untuk hati2 copykan dulu My.ini ke data sementara ( siap2 kalau2 langkah2nya salah, kan bisa di restore) kemudian delete My.ini file.
3. Rubah/rename My-small .ini dengan My.ini
4. Copykan My.ini file ke C:\ windows, bila sudah ada My.ini file di sana, lakukan langkah 2.
5. Kemudian cobalah start mysql di service administrative tools
Alhamdulillah jalan dengan lancar… Thanks Mihai…


Masalah 1 selesai.

Setelah web server di restart, cek di localhost :hasilnya masih ada pesan:

Warning: Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (10061) in C:\apache\htdocs\gdl40\conf\system.conf on line 33
Unable connect to server. Server is not ready.
